She was natural to Granberry Holl& and Annie Kate Ward. She attended a University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where she performed when one of a Crimson Tide football cheerleaders.

She is virtually all widely known for her Emmy Award-winning televisiin roles, playing yours free!-spirited Teddy on Sisters (1991-96) and individual mamma Lily in Once and Again (1999-2002). When of 2005 she has the revenant role in the series House M.D. as the ex-wife of the protagonist.

Her number 1 film role was in The Human That Loved Women, freed within 1983.
